Welcome to Resilient Mind Mental Health Counseling

Building resilience for meaningful change, one skill at a time

Resilient Mind Mental Health Counseling is the private psychotherapy practice of Juliet Kraus, offering telehealth therapy for adolescents and adults throughout New York.

It can feel exhausting to know what's going on internally but still feel stuck in the same patterns. You might find yourself overwhelmed by anxiety, navigating intense emotions, struggling in relationships, or wondering why insight alone hasn't led to lasting change.

I work with adolescents and adults who are looking for more than just a place to vent. Together, we'll build a deeper understanding of what's happening while also developing practical tools that help life feel more manageable, meaningful, and aligned with the person you want to be.

My goal is to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are. Together, we'll make sense of what's happening while building resilience for meaningful, lasting change. Some days that means learning new skills, other days it means just having a space that's yours, to slow down, reflect, and feel supported.

How I Help

Therapy with me is collaborative, active, and tailored to your individual needs. Together we'll work to better understand what's contributing to your current challenges and identify the strategies that are most helpful for you.

Sessions are structured enough to provide direction while remaining flexible enough to meet you where you are. Some days we may focus on learning practical skills to navigate difficult emotions, relationships, or stress. Other days, we may spend time processing experiences, exploring recurring patterns, or making sense of thoughts and emotions that feel difficult to untangle.

Throughout the process, my goal is to help you better understand yourself, strengthen your resilience, and create changes that feel realistic, meaningful, and sustainable in your everyday life.

Who I Work With

I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, emotional intensity, relationship challenges, and difficulty managing stress.

Many of the people I work with feel emotions deeply, become overwhelmed more easily than they'd like, or find themselves repeating patterns they genuinely want to change. Some have spent years trying to understand themselves but still feel stuck. Therapy offers a space to make sense of those experiences while learning new ways of responding that create lasting change.

What Therapy Can Support

Therapy often focuses on:

  • understanding emotional patterns

  • building coping and regulation skills

  • improving relationships and communication

  • reducing overwhelm and reactivity under stress

  • creating more stability, clarity, and self-trust over time

My approach is grounded in balancing acceptance and change. Together, we'll work toward understanding your experiences with compassion while also building realistic tools to help you navigate life's challenges more effectively. Therapy isn't about becoming a different person, it's about feeling more confident, capable, and connected to yourself.
