Resilient Mind
Mental Health Counseling
Building resilience, one skill at a time
Resilient Mind Mental Health Counseling is a private psychotherapy practice led by Juliet Kraus, LMHC, C-DBT, offering telehealth therapy for adolescents and adults across New York.
It can feel exhausting to know what’s going on internally, but still feel like nothing is actually changing.
I work with people who are navigating anxiety, depression, emotional intensity, relationship challenges, and life transitions, especially when things feel overwhelming, stuck, or hard to shift on your own.
My approach is grounded in understanding your experiences in context, while also helping you build practical skills that support lasting change.
How I Help
Therapy here is collaborative, supportive, and focused on both understanding and change.
We’ll look at the patterns that keep showing up, explore what’s underneath them, and build tools to help you respond to emotions and stress in a more effective way.
Sessions are structured enough to provide direction, but flexible enough to meet you where you are. The goal is not just insight, but helping things feel more manageable in your daily life.
Who I Work With
I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, emotional intensity, relationship challenges, and difficulty managing stress.
Many of the people I work with feel emotions deeply, get overwhelmed more easily than they’d like, or find themselves stuck in patterns that are hard to change even when they understand them.
What Therapy Can Support
Therapy often focuses on:
understanding emotional patterns
building coping and regulation skills
improving relationships and communication
reducing overwhelm and reactivity under stress
creating more stability, clarity, and self-trust over time
Therapy is grounded in the balance of acceptance, change, and learning to understand your experiences without judgment, while also building the tools to respond to them more effectively.
